Whisper Films was established in 2010 by Bafta-winning Producer Sunil Patel, TV broadcaster Jake Humphrey and former F1 driver (and current F1 commentator) David Coulthard.

Previous and current productions include the NFL Show for the BBC, the award-winning Formula 1 coverage for Channel 4, the channel-defining Paralympic Games coverage for Channel 4, host broadcaster for the all new SailGP series, the US Open coverage on Amazon Prime, FA Women’s Football for the BBC and The Feud: Liam vs Noel, amongst others. It will also produce the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

One of the original beneficiaries of the Channel 4 Growth Fund, Whisper has 50+ full-time staff, with creative teams dedicated to F1, rugby, tennis and women’s football. It also has a factual entertainment department and a thriving branded entertainment business; clients include Red Bull Racing, Emirates and Bose. In addition to its London office, Whisper has a regional office and Nations office in Cardiff, Wales.

Whisper has focused on working with the industry’s best and nurturing new talent and has been awarded Broadcast Best Places to Work for three years running. Since 2016 it has been partnered with Royal Holloway University, offering mentoring, training and employment opportunities to its media arts students.
